Alfie Update

So just as I expected, the girls came running into my room first thing this morning screaming about Alfie. "We need to go look for Alfie Mommy!!! Hurry! Hurry!!" They were so excited to see if he actually went to the North Pole and back. First they ran down to the kitchen to see if he was still sitting on top of the microwave (which of course he was not). Then they went tearing through the kitchen looking for him.

Once they realized he wasn't in the kitchen anymore they moved on to the rest of the house. It didn't take long before Ansleigh found him (that kid is quick) in Mommy's crochet bag.

Ansleigh: "DON'T TOUCH HIM!!!
HE'LL LOSE HIS MAGIC!!!!"

Needless to say, they were very excited.

Alfie realized how cold the North Pole was last
night and decided to crochet himself a tiny
scarf when he got home this morning :)

I think he did a pretty good job :)

After they asked me a million and one questions about how he flies, and what he told Santa, we found a new spot for him to hang out today. We decided the mantel is a nice place for him during the day because he can easily keep and eye on everyone from there. And Sophia doesn't let anyone forget that "Alfie can see you doing that." lol

Remember, he's always watching........

  4. I am so glad the girls are enjoying Alfie! Reading your blogs shows what great parents you and Derek are. Some people question their purpose in life - you will never have to do that!
