Mother's Day 2012

This Mother's Day has been great! MUCH better than I anticipated, with Derek being gone. The kids have been so well behaved, church was awesome, and I haven't had to cook anything all day. When I woke up this morning I found a gift on my doorstep of Diet Dr. Pepper (my FAVORITE) and a sweet card from Kristin, I was so surprised and it started my day off nicely. After church this morning I took some family pictures for Mother's Day,

and then we went out to eat with the McMurtreys at D'egg, downtown.

 It was really great food, and Eric even paid, which was a nice surprise. (Thanks again guys!!)

 And since I didn't have to buy lunch I decided to order pizza for dinner.  I also got a nice little surprise from Derek, the sweetest email EVER and a picture.

Is that not the sweetest thing you've ever seen?

 The only thing that could have made this day any better is if he were able to be here. I hope all you moms had a great day too!!!
