Garden (2)

So, things have not been ideal with the garden. Squirrels and birds have eaten our seeds from the ground, and a few of the plants were also eaten. I started some more seeds in pots so that I can transplant them when they are bigger, and hopefully they will then be big enough to not get eaten. So far, the tomato plants are doing great, and I still have a bell pepper and an eggplant that are ok as well. Here are some pictures of the progress.

Summer squash that I transplanted today. I have another seedling and started a couple more today, but wanted to try with one and see if it worked out with the squirrels and what not.

Tomatoes!!  Growing strong.

Bell pepper, the only one that made it.

Eggplant. There is another one that's not in terrible shape, but I'm not sure if it will make it. We shall see.

Cucumbers/Pickles. I have 3 more of these waiting for transplant. If all goes well with the  squash  I will be putting these in the ground in a week or so.

Cherry tomato seedling.

  1. Sorry the squirrels & birds attacked your garden...looks like you've got a good start on your seedlings though. Good luck with it!
