I really can't believe that it's already time to do another monthly update for Eli, and I especially can't believe he's 6 months old now!! Time is just flying by lately! He actually turned 6 months on the 8th, but I was waiting until after his check up to do the blog update. He went to the doctor on Saturday, and he's 27in long (60th percentile), 16.4lbs (21st percentile), and his head circumference is 43cm (25th percentile). I was a little surprised that his head was in the normal range since Sophia's has been >95th percentile her whole life. He's growing pretty good though and I'm proud to say that I am still breastfeeding!!! It's been a long journey with that, but it has gotten so much easier over time and I really enjoy it since he's not a cuddly baby. It's our snuggle time :)
He's still working on sitting up, but he can do it (supported) for a longer period of time now and he doesn't fall over as much. He's still not crawling, but he's definitely scooting around. He doesn't stay in one spot for long. He's also trying to grab anything and everything he can and put it in his mouth still, I'm not sure that the grabbing thing will ever end. From what I've heard boys are just like that. I can tell he wants so badly to get up and run around with the girls, and before I know it, he will be. His favorite word is Mama. Probably because I say it to him so much; Sophia said Dada first and I'm determined to have Eli say Mama first, but whenever I say it he gets a huge grin on his face. He also says it when he wants to be picked up, and he reaches for me (SO SWEET!) I guess not too much has changed in the last month, but his personality is really starting to shine. He's such a happy little boy :)

I can't believe he is 6 months old already. He is so stinkin cute. I can't wait to get my hands on him next weekend! And love that last picture.
